We built a conversion and review tool around the first approach.
The first system was not only a page template. It grew into a backend conversion process and an internal screen for staff to create, inspect and correct newsletter conversions.

Conversion backend
Added job processing, audit logs, access controls and conversion services.

Added the interface used to operate and review the conversion process.
Creation workflow, then reversal
The admin screen was extended to create newsletters, then that addition was reverted the following day.
What happened next: after this approach was shown, the project moved toward LLM-assembled pages. This workflow was therefore not taken forward.
